About us
Ohmer Park Church was founded in Dayton, Ohio right around the early 1910's. A small group of people met in someone's home on Wayne Avenue at Arbor. Their little group had grown by the 1920's and at that time a church was built in 1926, and they decided it would be named after the pastor, Pastor Ohmer who lived on the corner of Carlisle and Clarence Street. In 1954, the educational wing was built. Ohmer Park Church had well over 1000 members at one time, enough to have 2 church services on Sunday. Now, over a 100 years later, Ohmer Park Church is one of the oldest churches in Dayton, and still has a small congregation that meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for church! Stop in and see the beautiful stained glass windows in the sanctuary, and enjoy a traditional service from Pastor Steve!
